While skimming through social media, you have probably seen Kermit the Frog memes taking over the internet. First, Kermit struck the web with his Lipton Tea meme other known as “but that’s none of my business.” Recently, the “dark side” meme has been plastered all over Twitter. The image was taken from the Muppets Most Wanted, a movie that came out in 2014. In the photo, Kermit faces his evil lookalike who wears a dark hooded sweatshirt. The memes show Kermit contemplating an ultimatum with a underlying meaning of “get your life together.” While the hooded Kermit basically plays the devil on his shoulder, he gives us a constant reminder that while making decisions, we always have a dark side. The staff of Central Stampede will be Tweeting and Instagramming these memes school style. With consent from the subject, we will be creating Kermit the Frog memes with the faces of our students and teachers. If you have any ideas please feel free to DM us on Instagram @Central_Stampede_ and Twitter @Centralstampede.
