A new school year means new staff members have joined Portage Central. One of these additions has come in our Learning Center. Adam Laroy was the Learning Center supervisor last year, but this year it is Nick Hosler.

Hosler has previously worked for the Boy Scouts of America and taught preschool for 10 years as well. He knows the Mustang tradition as well as anyone though from coaching here at PC.

“I have actually coached cross country here at PC for the last 11 years,” Hosler said.

This is our new learning center supervisor, Nick Hosler.

He looks forward to this new opportunity to help out students. Besides being of assistance with class work, Hosler is now in charge of volunteer service form records.

As for the volunteer service forms I am the person they all get turned into, room 1133, and then I keep files on all of the forms and keep track of all of the hours that were turned in each school year,” Hosler said.

Those who need help with school work are in good hands with the new supervisor.
